Bionomic Industries, Inc., a leading manufacturer of scrubbing equipment and "prepackaged" scrubber systems, has announced availability of their affordable new VentClean System for scrubbing of storage tank vent emissions caused by tank breathing and filling operations.
VentClean's versatility allows it to handle single as well as multiple storage tanks with large variations in venting rates while a low pressure drop design prohibits dangerous over-pressurization in both fiberglass and plastic storage tanks. A standard system handles gas capacities from 0 to 100 acfm and an optional version up to 200 acfm with removal efficiencies over 99% to exceed EPA and state requirements.
The system is also available in two unique operating configurations that easily adapt to a variety of scrubbing liquid preferences. Type 1 is configured to use water on a once-through basis and Type 2 incorporates a special circulation pump that uses water at a reduced consumption rate, or a chemical reagent such as sodium hydroxide on a recirculated batch basis. A variety of options greatly extends the system's application capabilities. Typical applications include removal of acids, alcohols, formaldehyde, amines or almost any other water-soluble contaminants.
