| Series 7000/8000 Gas Atomized Venturi Scrubber Systems
Overview
Series 7000/8000 Gas Atomized Venturi Scrubber Systems are available to handle capacities from 500 to 460,000 acfm and feature fully open pipe header scrubbing liquid distributors for plug free operation. These units employ fixed or adjustable throat sections, and offer extremely high collection efficiencies.
The Series 8000 venturi incorporates a unique, fully wetted wall design to eliminate throat pluggage due to solids buildup.
These scrubber systems can be used for high efficiency collection of solid particulate down to 0.2 microns in size and offer added versatility for gas turndown or increased/decreased collection efficiency with the adjustable throat assembly option.
Both series scrubbers can recirculate a high solids content in the scrubbing liquid to minimize water requirements.
Entrainment separators can be either cyclonic for normal droplet removal, impingement tray or packed bed for gas sub-cooling or further absorption, and mist-eliminator type to meet additional mist elimination requirements.
All materials of construction are available.
