Overview

Series 5500 Crossflow Scrubber Systems are available for gas flow rates from 1,000 to 50,000 acfm, provide high removal efficiency on gaseous contaminants at low pressure drop, and feature a compact design for situations where building codes limit height of rooftop structures or lower absorption efficiencies are acceptable. They are designed to accommodate a wide range of packings, mist eliminators and scrubbing liquid distribution systems to meet a full range of gas absorption requirements.

Construction materials include FRP, FRP dual laminate, thermoplastics, titanium, carbon or stainless steel, high nickel alloys, hastelloy and corrosion-resistant coatings and linings.

Typical Applications

• Scrubbing and removal of corrosive vapors and unwanted mists when a low height profile scrubber is desirable.
